I just want to tell you that this is great! I just had a question on selecting interesting positions for these exercises. Is there a book, or a technique in ChessBase that can helps you come up with positions that will be helpful for specialization training?

Hi Chessbuzz,

One way is to use an opening book like NCO and play out the moves to the end of a mainline variation or a branch with several choices.

Informants have small opening treatises in them now - taking a position from an Informant would work too, or any position from a recent master game that seems to indicate modern theory is fun as well.

Any reasonable method will work.
